Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light Review

I recently purchased an Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in the shade Dim Light. Hourglass's website describes the shade as a "neutral peach beige". The powder claims that its balance of warm and cool will work to blur imperfections. I have been using this powder since I purchased it. For reference, I have very pale cool toned skin (NW 20). The color description is accurate in my opinion. I found that the powder worked as claimed as it does seem to subtly blur the skin. The powder is fine milled and has the perfect texture of being soft but not so soft that it kicks up too much powder. It gives off a beautiful glow, but with no shimmer, I would describe it as a sheen. For this reason I think it could make a great setting powder, unfortunately I am so pale this is not an option for me. The shade is just a bit darker than my skin tone so I have been using it on my cheek bones and around the outer area of my face. I am interested to try some of the lighter shades Hourglass offers.

The powder lasts all day on my skin (normal-dry) about eight hours.

Overall, I think this powder is incredibly high quality, it truly gives a natural flawless finish.
