Versace Bight Crystal Perfume Review
The newest perfume to my collection is Versace Bight Crystal. The words that come to mind when smelling this perfume are bright and fresh. The scent is quite soft making it a good everyday perfume. It contains floral notes but does not smell overly floral in my opinion. Overall, I find it to be a very feminine scent.
Sephora's website description of this product states it was "inspired by a mixture of Donatella Versace's favorite floral fragrances, Bright Crystal is a fresh, sensual blend of refreshing chilled yuzu and pomegranate mingled with soothing blossoms of peony, magnolia, and lotus flower, warmed with notes of musk and amber."
And that the notes are : Iced Accord, Yuzu, Pomegranate, Peony, Magnolia, Lotus Flower, Acajou, Vegetal Amber, Musk.
Though it contains notes of musk I don't really smell it and it does not translate as a musky scent. I feel the musk just tones down the floral scent, which is the most prominent scent of this perfume. I also like the touch of tartness this perfume has, which I believe must come from the pomegranate note. In my opinion the combination is well balanced, and makes for a beautiful smelling perfume.
The scent is strong at the first spray but tones down quickly and leaves a soft scent that lingers all day.
Prices as listed on Sephora.com :
$20.00 for a 0.3 oz Eau de Toilette Rollerball
$51.00 for a 1 oz Eau de Toilette Spray
$69.00 for a 1.7 oz Eau de Toilette Spray
$89.00 for a 3 oz Eau de Toilette Spray
Overall, I really enjoy this perfume! Scents are so personal that I can't say I recommend it, but definitely try it out the next time you are at Sephora (it is a Sephora exclusive) if the notes sound appealing to you!

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light Review
I recently purchased an Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in the shade Dim Light. Hourglass's website describes the shade as a "neutral peach beige". The powder claims that its balance of warm and cool will work to blur imperfections. I have been using this powder since I purchased it. For reference, I have very pale cool toned skin (NW 20). The color description is accurate in my opinion. I found that the powder worked as claimed as it does seem to subtly blur the skin. The powder is fine milled and has the perfect texture of being soft but not so soft that it kicks up too much powder. It gives off a beautiful glow, but with no shimmer, I would describe it as a sheen. For this reason I think it could make a great setting powder, unfortunately I am so pale this is not an option for me. The shade is just a bit darker than my skin tone so I have been using it on my cheek bones and around the outer area of my face. I am interested to try some of the lighter shades Hourglass offers.
The powder lasts all day on my skin (normal-dry) about eight hours.
Overall, I think this powder is incredibly high quality, it truly gives a natural flawless finish.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders sell for $45 for 0.35oz

Sephora Haul and Review
I recently picked up a few items from Sephora. Although I was tempted with all their beautiful holiday releases but I stuck with some essentials for this trip.
The first item I picked up with Urban Decay Eye Primer in Eden. I love Urban Decay's Primers, I find that they work incredibly well at keeping eyeshadow on longer and crease-free. I especially like the shade Eden because it is a light skin toned color that is opaque. It conceals redness and any imperfections, and because of its light color it really brightens any eyeshadow that is put on top of it.
The second item I picked up was Anastasia's Brow Powder Duo in Ebony. This particular duo comes with two cool toned dark brown shades. This is my first time purchasing this product and so far I am really liking it! I have always liked powder to fill in my brows, I find it gives a more natural look as pencils can often be harsh. The powder goes on smoothly and is very pigmented. I apply it with an an angled brush and finish with a brow gel.
The last item I purchased was NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla. I have used this product before and it quickly worked its way up on my list of favorite concealers. As the name suggests it goes on on very smoothly and gives a beautiful brightening look without highlighting. I find that it lasts about eight hours on me before it starts to look a bit faded. Overall, I find it to be a great long lasting concealer.
I think these products are great and would definitely recommend them.

Manicure Monday: Butter London Saucy Jack Photos and Review
My most recent manicure is Butter London's "Saucy Jack". The color is a beautiful blue toned red. This polish has a great consistency and is nearly perfectly opaque in one coat, though I did do two. There are no sparkles and the polish dries now with a nice shine but I did put my favorite fast dry top coat on top, Seche Vite. I love this color, it is a great classic red and I definitely recommend it if you need a good red for your collection! I think it will be especially perfect during the holiday season.
What is your favorite red polish?
